Artist Release | The Campbell Collective | Kati Sellers
Though we can barely believe it, June is here and we are kicking off summer with our fifth new artist of the year! Kati Sellers is a graphic designer by trade but lucky for us, she often channels her creative energy into painting! Today she is introducing a collection of floral bouquets that were grown in her very own garden and we can't wait to share them with you all!
Kati states, "My art career started early while taking lessons from Mrs. Weaver at the recreation center in Jesup, Georgia. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree majoring in Graphic Design. As a graphic designer, I have worked for a variety of businesses such as newspapers, manufacturing companies, print shops, and ad agencies, just to name a few. Currently I am working for Anna Griffin, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia."
"At night and on weekends I paint. My mediums of choice are watercolors and with ink and acrylics. I describe my style as loose, relaxed, and colorful. This is how I strive to live my life as well. Some days are more successful than others."
We are thrilled that Kati chose to share these bouquets with us. We love the squiggly lines and the balance of colors in this series but we especially love that Kati based these off of her own cut flowers to remind us to appreciate the simple beauties that surround us! Head to Kati's artist page to take in the full collection!
