The artist states, “A combination of realistic and abstract art, this collection is meant to represent our lives, and our thoughts as women-fantasy and imagination, mixed with reality. This floral collection focuses on women aging, and all of the things that means for us in our society. Self-doubt, natural beauty, wrinkles, and some desperation to hold onto our youth are all illustrated, along with the reminder that we are beautiful all the time. Examples in the collection include sunflowers just beginning to wilt, graying hydrangeas, bright young tulips, and simple greenery which demonstrates that even without the flamboyance of showy floral blooms (or makeup and fillers), beauty is found.
