My collection of work is an expression of who I am—or perhaps more honesty, who I strive to be. I am drawn to creating lively, expressive works that bring a sense of joy and energy to the viewer. For me clay is a newer medium, as I have spent many years wielding a paint brush and collaging papers.  

Inspiration comes from my experiences. A recent safari in Africa left a lasting impression on me, particularly the Guinea hens that captured my attention.  Their quirky, noisy, and energetic nature continues to influence my work. I am fascinated not only by their visual patterns, but by their movement and personalities.
