I paint to capture fleeting moments, where color and light converge and feel timeless. I seek to transform the ordinary into something unforgettable, and to see familiar places with renewed wonder. While my paintings often begin with landscapes, birds, or florals, they are never intended as literal records of a place. I am drawn less to what a scene looks like than to what it invites us to experience.

Working with layered color, expressive brushwork, and an intuitive process, I allow each painting to evolve beyond observation into interpretation. I want the viewer to feel that the moment was plucked from time. It displays stillness, and yet conveys joyful movement. These moments remind us that beauty surrounds us when we choose to notice it. My work is ultimately an invitation to pause.

In a culture that celebrates speed and constant movement, I hope each painting offers a moment of calm and gratitude. I believe art has the power to gently redirect our attention, to lift our eyes, awaken our senses, and reconnect us with the beauty throughout creation. If someone walks away from one of my paintings feeling lighter, more hopeful, or simply more attentive to the world around them, then the painting has fulfilled its purpose.
