"My floral paintings are a celebration of the small moments that combine to create this beautiful life we lead. Surprising color combinations and intersecting lines represent the diverse people who cross our path and the unique experiences and connections we form. The beauty of the whole is unclear when you only focus on one line. Carefully placed and intentionally curated, each bud represents its own chapter, flaunting individual characteristics that compliment the others in the bunch. Our lives our complex and ever changing. My work focuses on capturing this beautiful dance that we all play a role in and freezing a moment in time by painting a subject as fleeting as florals."
