"This collection is comprised of abstract depictions of women and the bond they share with the little ones in their life. It started out as a dedication to mothers and their children, but the more it evolved I began seeing representations of grandmothers, grandchildren, aunts, nieces, cousins, teachers, and friends. These portraits represent not only the gift that children are to us, but it portrays the bonds we share with the women who have poured into our lives over the years. Their love, dedication, nurturing, and encouragement have shaped us into the people we are today. "
