"We live right on the Mississippi River. Just a few steps away. One of my favorite views is sunset from atop the levee when the river boats are all returning from their day cruises. The calliope music blaring. This collection was painted while thinking of those summer sunsets I experienced on the banks of the river surrounded by tropical foliage."
