'On a recent trip to New Orleans, I spent hours walking through the lush City Park. I was struck by the giant Live Oak trees, meandering paths, and areas of wetlands scattered throughout. Enjoying the respite from the busy city, I was taken by the greens, the shadows, and the wide open skies: the towering trees providing beauty, interest, and much-needed shade in the Louisiana heat. This collection features warm pink skies swirling around the leafy trees, while colorful shadows marked by elongated brush strokes and pockets of marshland add a sense of coolness throughout the scene.'
