"My latest body of work is a continuation in a study to loosen my strokes and play with texture and color. I am constantly inspired by the beauty of waterscapes- the way light reflects off of the water creates a sense of calm and serenity and instantly puts me at ease, just like these water lilies softly dancing on the water. They remind me of scenes from home growing up in Louisiana. My hope is this collection captures that feeling of peace that both home and the water bring."
