"In this collection I wanted to tap into experimenting again. Making art never happens in a straight line and sometimes simply buying new materials help you tap deeper into that process. I purchased some fluorescent paint at the art store and the fun began. I enjoyed using these neon pigments to create bright backgrounds and unexpected pops of colors. It brought me back to the days of yellow and pink highlighters in middle school and glow bracelets at the roller skate park. Nostalgia at its finest!"
