Artist Release | The Campbell Collective | Lindsey McCord

Today we are introducing several new faces but the most important is Lindsey McCord! Lindsey is a life-long crafter and artist from rural Georgia. After years of content creation, branding and DIY action she picked up her paintbrush and revisited her roots in fashion illustration! Nowadays you can find her with baby Lulu in tow, painting in her home studio in Atlanta!

Lindsey moved to New York in 2010 to study fashion design. While completing her degree she taught sewing, fashion design, and jewelry design to young style enthusiasts around Manhattan and New Jersey. After getting her AAS in Fashion Design she continued to work in New York for a stylish event company where she gained the moniker "Lindsey Crafter". She took up the mantle as the resident "crafty" engineer, handling creative installs and styling for companies like Target, Garnier, Loreal and more. While she returned to Atlanta in 2016, she continues to freelance in NY, Miami, LA and beyond.
Today's "Girls Trip" series translates two of Lindsey's loves, vintage hunting and impromptu day trips, into a colorful 2D collection of vibrant portraits. Each of these ladies features colorful snips of vintage floral fabric snagged at an estate sale and Lindsey's trademark chandelier earrings. She states,
"While the style of my portraits changes almost weekly, I love the bit of mystery the teal shadows add to each face. While adding contrast, it also ties them together should they be display in groups."
Much like your favorite pair of earrings or that killer thrifting find, these pieces will be treasured for many years to come! Let's welcome Lindsey to TCC by shopping her first release over on the site now!
